I thought you would want to know that Howard and I still think about and use the ideas/suggestions from our premarital counseling with you. When we're in a bind, I go back and read both of our workbooks that we used to remind myself of where Howard's coming from. Sometimes it's easy to lose sight of that, especially if I'm too focused on my own objectives. At any rate, I never realized how valuable premarital counseling would be, but it's been a wonderful tool to bring Howard and I back to “neutral” when we have issues that pop up.
